The BRITA P1000 filter cartridge is suitable for the BRITA Taps and the On Line Active Plus System.
Its unique filter technology of the BRITA P1000 cartridge reduces limescale, substances that can impair taste and odour, such as chlorine and chlorine flavours and metals such as lead and copper that may occur in a domestic setting.
With it, you can enjoy all the benefits of cleaner, clearer better tasting water on demand and it’s also good for your domestic appliances, as they are effectively protected against the build-up of limescale.
The powerful cartridge saves space under the sink and is suitable for use from three to six months, depending on the hardness of your water. The filter cartridge is easy to replace and can be recycled.

I live in Clare… You don’t get much harder water. When I first got my house within two months the inside of my kettle turn white with limescale. Then I fitted the Brita tap that goes with this Filter, I been using the filter water for drinking, cooking. It been 14 months since fitting the tap (I change the filter twice now, when the tap red light told me too) I have had no I repeat no limescale in my kettle at all.
