The replacement lids for LEIFHEIT preserving jars together with the LEIFHEIT screw rings (sold separately) deliver ?guaranteed success? as a result of the ?finger test?. If the preserving jars are not properly closed, the lid shrinks inwards due to the developed vacuum and does not give way under finger pressure. This ensures that no mould can develop.
These lids are specifically for wide mouth mason jars and canning jars
For use with LEIFHEIT canning jars 36103, 36203, 36303, and bands 36401.
Reusable, so long as seal is not punctured or compromised.
Not suitable for fatty foods.
